Cancellation Policy
Revision date: 24, August, 2022.
We, at Hombres Adventures want to give you reasons to smile.  That is why we  provide a risk-free adventure registration.    If you are unable to participate in your desired adventure, you may cancel your  registration at any time and for any reason until the final payment deadline-30 days in advance of your adventure.  Should you choose to do so, we will refund your payment within 14 days of your cancellation, subject to a $30 administration fee.  

You may still cancel your registration up until 15 days prior  to the adventure.  However, we will not refund your deposit fee of $500 and deem it to be your cancellation fee.   We will refund any amounts paid to us, in excess of  the $500 cancellation fee, within 14 days of your cancelation request.

If you  cancel your adventure within 14 days  prior to the adventure,  we will refund your payment to you, within 14 days of your cancellation request, subject to a $500 plus 30% of amounts paid to us for that adventure, exceeding $500.    However,  as we much prefer to have you join our adventure as a happy Hombre,  we will apply half of the cancellation fee as a credit toward any other Hombre adventure that you will take with us, within one year of your cancelled adventure.  

If you have registered and paid for an adventure but do not attend and have not cancelled, in accordance to the above cancellation options, we will still refund to you, 50% of your payment, within 14 days of the end of the registered adventure.  The refund will only be made if you advise us that you are not going to be in attendance, within two days of the start of the adventure.   If you choose to register and  attend another Hombre adventure within one year of your unattended adventure, we will apply 50% of the amount we retained on your unattended adventure (a total of 25% of the fee paid to the unattended adventure) toward your other  adventure.    This refund option is available only if you miss the adventure in its entirety.   if you arrive after the adventure begins, absent yourself for any portion of the adventure or depart prior to the end of the adventure,  there will not be a refund for the missed portion.      

Please note that our refund policy does not apply to cancellation and returns fees you may incur from your credit card or payment service provider, and fees charged by the payment and refund processing intermediary for the transactions involving payment and refund.  Said fees, if applied to our account, shall be chargeable and applied to you as an administration fee.

Cancellation Process

Simply let us know you are unable to attend your adventure,  will be late to attend or are cancelling your registration or purchase by emailing  or by sending us a message on your portal of our website.   This will record the time of your cancellation.  


Receiving Refunds
Once we receive your cancellation request we will acknowledge receipt thereof, within two business days.   We will email an accounting to you to let you know your refund has been issued. You’ll typically see your refund on your credit card statement within 14 days depending on your financial institution.
Faulty Items
While attending your adventure, If you believe that you receiving  an activity, meal, accommodations, or transportation service that is not according to the itinerary or not in keeping with our Terms and Conditions,  advise your adventure leader as soon as possible.  If your concern is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may send us an email stating the details of your concern.  Should you need to do so, please send the email within two days of the occurrence of the item of concern.    We will take measures to respond to your concern as soon as possible, and while you are still on your adventure.  We will take every measure to ensure that we deliver to you an adventure complying with our Terms and Conditions and the best possible experience.  

Please note that we make effort to review all meal venues for our itinerary.   To do so, we rely on publicly available information pertaining to the meal venue's fitness to provide its products and services.  We also make use of social media comments and reviews of those venues.  We have identified all venues in our itinerary and provided public links to them, for your access and comfort.  Kindly note that we are not responsible for undesirable outcome of consumption of food at any venue for which we have not foreknowledge of potential health issues.  
Jurisdiction
Hombres Adventures  is headquartered in the Province of Ontario, Canada. For the purpose of this agreement, all products and services purchased from Hombres Adventures shall be deemed to have been purchased in the Province on Ontario.
 
By consenting the policy, you are agreeing that the policy shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of Canada and the Province of Ontario. In the event of a dispute or challenge to the terms and conditions of this policy, you agree that said challenge shall be brought forward only the Province of Ontario.
